Welcome to our dumb little website
We are The Backside Smiths. We hang our hats in the Gulf Coast areas of Mississippi and Alabama where the amazing food doesn't always agree with the stomach ulcer from seeing how messed up it is around here. Its rough, its dirty, its paradise. Our names are AJ Stewart (guitar, vocals), Dreux Delcuze (bass, vocals), and Kaden Stevens (Drums). Theres also our friend and producer Dillon...but he's here the way that Ma-Ti with the 'heart' ring was one of the planeteers, you know? We are all together from Hattiesburg and Gulfport, MS, as well as Mobile, AL, and though we are very much weekend warrior/part-timers with this band, we are actively looking for new bookings anywhere within that swamp and pine filled triangle! We play early aughts-esque punk music. I strain to say 'pop punk', because first thing we would need to be is popular. Our album 'Now Hiring' is out on Spotify and all other streams.
